During the COVID pandemic, Kasey (like many others) struggled. That time took a toll on her mental health in many ways. Her social anxiety was through the roof, social media was a mine field and she had never felt lonelier. In a bid to bring herself out of the dark, she drew herself some friends - a collection of critters who brought joy and comfort.

For a long time, Kasey kept them to herself. When she was feeling low, she would draw a new ‘friend’. Each critter came with their own personality, pronouns, and strengths and slowly, they started to help Kasey out of the dark.

She began to share them with her community (without delving too much into their importance to her) and they quickly became a part of her brand – especially Leo. He holds a very special place in Kasey's heart.

It was in early 2022 when Kasey began to wonder if her creation could have the potential to help others in the way it helped her. But before inviting people into her world, she first needed to CREATE that world. It seemed only fair - they had provided her with a warm, loving and safe space and now, she wanted to do the same for them.

And so, Kutopia was born...

Kutopia is the whimsical world in which this kaleidoscope of Kasey's critters reside. Within this realm, there are twelve colourful (and meaningful) lands, each home to a variety of friendly inhabitants. Every character within has their own ‘special sparkle’ - a quality making them unique and allowing them the ability to guide kids on a journey of self discovery to find that sparkle within themselves.

In a world that is quickly becoming more daunting, Kasey dreams of giving children a place to escape.
A safe (and fun!) space to explore their strengths and a warm and colourful place to find love and support when they are struggling.

It may be a little world.
But it comes with big dreams.
